In the project IFRS9, the task was to introduce a platform for processing cashless payment transactions for a building society in Austria.

Role of the consultant

The consultant was responsible for overall test management for user acceptance testing.

Implementation

The consultant executed the scope definition and coordinated with an external service provider to create test cases. The consultant also coordinated the test content with stakeholders and was responsible for planning and coordinating the test execution, as well as managing escalations and defects.

Additionally, the consultant oversaw test controlling and test reporting.

The consultant created and coordinated the necessary test concepts for the integration and acceptance test. They also developed project-specific requirements for the test management tool and test environment. The consultant was responsible for resource and budget planning for integration and acceptance test, as well as overseeing the preparation and execution of the integration and acceptance test. They were also responsible for obtaining acceptances and managing defects, as well as test controlling and test reporting.

Implementation

The consultant was responsible for creating and coordinating the cross-release framework test concept, defining and coordinating project-specific requirements for the test management tool (HP ALM), creating criticality matrices and effort estimates, creating terms of reference, and coordinating resource and budget planning. They were also responsible for controlling the system integration test, controlling the acceptance test, executing tests, and managing errors and status reporting. Additionally, they were responsible for test controlling and reporting.
