THE TRANSFER OF
KWF, CONFERO AND SO.IS.IT
IS COMPLETED!

Dear customers, dear business partners, ... the time has finally come! We are very pleased to formally announce the completed transfer of operations of the three companies KWF Business Consultants GmbH, confero GmbH & Co. KG and So.is.it Consulting GmbH into Confero Group AG with retroactive effect from 1 January 2023.

With Confero Group AG, the combined competences of the group companies with over 50 experienced consultants at the locations Frankfurt a. M., Düsseldorf, Höchstadt a. d. Aisch as well as Luxembourg will now be united under one roof.

The transfer of operations is the next logical step in what has already been many years of close and trusting cooperation between the group companies, in order to leverage further synergies and to be able to offer an even more comprehensive range of services and expertise for companies in the financial services industry from a single source in the future. 

As Confero Group AG, we look forward to a continued good and successful cooperation with you!

FROM SCIENCE INTO PRACTICE - DR. NICO LEHNERTZ THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE CONFERO FAMILY

Dr. Nico Lehnertz (31) strengthens the Confero Group with immediate effect with expertise in the areas of financing and entrepreneurship.

Jörg Wieneke, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at the Confero Group, is pleased about this new addition for two reasons in particular: "We and our clients benefit directly from his scientifically sound basis in challenging tasks and Nico brings fresh perspectives to our team."

After graduating from high school and completing a banking apprenticeship, Nico studied economics and business administration at the universities in Bonn and Düsseldorf respectively.

After successfully completing his doctorate with the top grade "summa cum laude", he was awarded his doctorate by the University of Düsseldorf this month.

The whole Confero Group family congratulates Nico on this great result and is looking forward to a successful cooperation.

EXPERT IN PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS AND TEST MANAGEMENT OLAF BARTELT STRENGTHENS CONFERO GROUP

Olaf Bartelt (56) joins the Confero Group team as of July 1, 2023. Olaf was most recently responsible for Banking and Financial Services in Germany at expleo in various roles, both in sales and project execution, and will take over the newly created Payment Transactions and Test Management profit center at Confero Group.

"With the addition of this proven expert in the banking sector, Confero Group is significantly expanding its expertise in these two areas," says Jörg Wieneke, CEO of Confero Group. "We have already been on friendly terms for many years and are now looking forward to expanding our customer base as well as to many interesting and challenging projects together with Olaf," Jörg Wieneke continues.

Olaf is married and has lived in Wiesbaden, the gateway to the Rheingau, for many years. After a mathematical education he started his consulting career in 1989. Via various positions at pdv, CSC and Wipro, he joined SQS in 2009, where he assumed global responsibility for a major strategic customer. This is also where the collaboration with the Confero Group team was established, which expanded over the years in a spirit of trust. "Now I am looking forward to the challenges ahead of me in the new environment," Olaf comments on his start. Depending on the season, Olaf finds his balance to the workday in snowboarding or cycling, and he always tries his hand at golf.

For the very first time, the employees of confero, KWF, So.is.it and TPN2, the companies associated in the group, as well as freelancers who have been working closely with us for years, met for a big summer and family party in Burgenland, Austria. A tradition coming from So.is.it, which was now joyfully continued here.

In the very best weather conditions, there was a lot of information and an intensive exchange of ideas for two days. In addition, all participants had a lot of fun with good food and drinks. Apart from the visits to the hotel's spa and the thermal baths, the highlights were certainly the visit to Zotter, the great Chocalatier, and the one or other successfully played round of golf.

STOCK MARKET EXPERT DIRK ELBERSKIRCH BECOMES PARTNER AT CONFERO GROUP

Dirk Elberskirch, the former Chairman of the Management Board of the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange, has joined Confero Group AG as a partner in March 2021. The Confero Group AG is based in Frankfurt am Main and has been one of the top management consultants in the securities business in Germany for more than two decades. Elberskirch, who spent 25 years in the stock market business, is excited to be back in the consulting industry and believes that he has found the professional environment and expertise that will enable him to successfully support clients from the financial services industry. According to Jörg Wieneke, Chairman of the Management Board of Confero Group AG, the company is gaining outstanding know-how and a wide range of experience in the stock market, and can thus further develop its range of services in a targeted manner. Wieneke also adds that they are delighted to have a good friend join their team.
